What we offer
Counselling
On your first visit to the Wereldhuis, one of our employees will do an intake with you. If you need social or legal counselling, we can arrange an appointment for you. Counselling can be conducted in Dutch, English, French, and Spanish.
Physical and mental health
If you have questions concerning your health, you can speak to our team. If necessary, we will refer you to the Kruispost medical centre or to Doctors of the World . We also help with prescriptions and transport to the doctor or hospital.
Legal advice
We work in close collaboration with a number of lawyers who provide free legal advice for our clients. If you need advice on an asylum claim, family law, Chavez, or another subject, please see one of our staff members to make an appointment for legal counselling.
What we do not offer
While we understand that this is a fundamental and urgent need, we are not equipped to provide night shelter. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for arranging housing or temporary shelter.
